Desperate for Donuts?
This story is almost too wacky to be true, but a Dunkin' Donuts in Dupage was robbed by a teenager who later returned to apologize, return the money, and offer the frightened employee a hug. The Hinsdale police department initially thought it was a joke when they received the call, and once they heard the whole story commented that they had never heard of anything like this.

Go Fly a Kite 2009

If you're looking for something to do this coming Saturday, April 18th, why not help set a new world record? Wheaton is hoping to break the Guinness Book of World Records record for most number of kites flying simultaneously. Guinness' rules state that participants must register ahead of time and sign in the day of. The current record is 967, but wouldn't it be fun to be that 968th kite next weekend? If you have a teenager who hopes to work a summer job, its not too early to start looking. Many of the jobs typically slated as summer work for teens now have unemployed adults competing for them.
